We had a small crowd of about 30 at the rally. The speakers were inspirational, and the music was great too! Big thanks to all the speakers and our wonderful musicians.

After the rally we marched to drum beats and the motto “walk gently
on the planet”, and found ourselves doing quite some chanting outside the JFK
government building against false solutions, etc. We were able to send 4 representatives to Senator Kirk’s office to deliver our letter and the bags of goodies and baddies (with a brief conversation with two aids about our goals). When we got to Senator Kerry’s office, all the remainding 6 people were allowed to go up and deliver the same.

We did a sidewalk die-out in the rain. This was indeed a moment of reflection on our connectedness to nature, and why we were doing this – to save those species that are dying-out/off, including indigenous peoples. No police were even in sight, so no arrest was made. [video to follow]
